| During a 2003 Astros' pre-game ceremony at Minute Maid Park, representatives from a dozen local organizations including Michael Randel Homes, Robert Walters Architecture+Planning and Home Depot, were recognized for their contribution to the Settegast Park Ballfield refurbishment effort.

| As part of the Grand Slam for Youth Baseball community outreach program, Minute Maid and the Houston Astros have committed to refurbish one youth ball field a year for the next 27 years. Click here to learn more about this flagship project and year-one field.
This spring, members of Minute Maid and the Astros organizations, along with helping hands from the City of Houston and the local community, "dug in" - literally - with shovels and hammers, volunteering their time and offering "sweat equity" as part of the refurbishment effort.
